The Vapor 3X Stick is replacing the 2X Team stick from 2019. Bauer has officially removed ‘TEAM’ from their naming to make it more consistent across all their families. The 2X Team was loaded with a great mix of lightweight, elite technologies that provided an elite feel at a lower price point. The 3X stick has some key upgrades, making it a great option for the performance level player. A big upgrade is the weight and durability of the stick. Bauer reduced the weight of the 3X by 5 grams in the Senior stick, 10 grams in the Intermediate and Junior sticks, while making it 12% more durable. This is pushing the boundaries of performance at this price point in the marketplace. Passed down from the top-end Hyperlite stick is the XE Taper technology. This taper has an elliptical geometry which provides more strength in the blade and reduces weight by limiting the amount of carbon fiber layers needed in this area. The result is a taper that amplifies the low-kick point construction, giving you the stability, responsiveness and quick release you’re looking for. Bauer uses their High-Performance Mold which provides a balanced energy transfer through the entire stick, from shaft to blade. This gives you a true one-piece feel enhancing the overall performance of the stick to improve your shooting, passing, and stick handling. The 3X stick blade includes some high-level features for lightweight performance. The blade is constructed with MaxBalance technology, also found in the 3X Pro model. MaxBalance strategically layers carbon fiber in the blade for more strength without weighing down the stick, while also reinforcing the edges for increased durability.
