This glove is lightly broken in (its barely been used) and is ready to game. I am a big fan of these Select Pro Lite gloves for youth players. They are light, made with quality leather, including the laces and all use a pro style pattern. I've looked at a lot of youth player gloves, and I think these are the best bang for the buck for players in the 7-10 age range. They came on my radar when I was doing research and found Charlie Rose, the owner of one of the biggest and oldest baseball equipment stores in the US mentioned them as his favorite for 10U players in the YT video titled, "THE BEST YOUTH BASEBALL GLOVES (BUY THESE)". Basically, I agree with him, and that video is a great quick watch to learn about some great gloves for younger players if you have the time to check it out.
