Great youth-sized Glove
I have purchased several R9 series gloves for my youth baseball players, and they have been exceptional gloves for small hands. Great quality, perfect fit, very durable, great price point as well.

Rawlings R9 Baseball Gloves & Mitts
The Rawlings R9 is an all-leather baseball glove offered in a ContoUR fit. ContoUR narrows the finger stalls and shrinks the wrist opening. That lets a smaller hand close the glove without fighting it. Other R9 models use a standard or narrow fit instead. Rawlings does most of the break-in at the factory, so it plays early.
Key features include:
| Reinforced Palm Pad | Extra material under the pocket cuts the sting on hard-hit balls. |
| Padded Thumb Loop | A padded loop protects the thumb, which takes impact on off-center catches. |
| Padded Fingerback Liners | Cushioning behind the fingers where the glove bends closed. |
| Pro-Style Patterns | Rawlings builds R9 gloves on the same pattern shapes as its pro lines. |
| Listed for 8U Through High School | Rawlings rates R9 models from 8U up to high school players. |
