Perfect glove for:
Players who are serious about softball and are looking for the highest level of performance and quality.

The Wilson A2000 softball glove is renowned for its exceptional quality, performance, and durability. Featuring Spin Control Technology, which provides enhanced grip for secure catches and quicker transfers. The A2000 also has Pro Stock Leather, known for its unmatched feel, durability, and ability to break in perfectly to the player’s hand. Crafted with attention to detail, these gloves are a favorite among professional and amateur softball players alike.

This is my glove of choice. I own two right now and can't say enough about its excellent durability. The A2000 has good pop and comes in a model known as "super skin," which makes it feel lighter. It's also designed with a deeper pocket so players can quickly field the ball and transfer it to their throwing hand. If a player keeps a ball in the pocket when it's not in use and conditions the leather, the A2000 should last about four years, compared to more beginner gloves, which typically last about one year.

Perfect glove for:
Recreational and travel-ball infielders who want full grain leather without paying up for an A2000.

The Wilson A950 is a discontinued baseball glove built around a low-profile heel. The low heel keeps the hand opening flexible so the glove closes smoothly. Wilson offered it in infield, outfield and catcher patterns across several sizes. It sat near the top of Wilson's value tier before being retired. Listings now come from the used market rather than stores.

Perfect glove for:
High school and college fielders shopping a specific position pattern rather than a general-purpose glove.

The Wilson A2000 is a baseball glove line spanning every fielding position, including catcher. Each glove carries a pattern code like 1786 or OT7 that fixes size and position. Web shape and shell material vary between releases of the same pattern. Dual welting in the finger backs and a Dri-Lex wrist lining run through the line. Wilson positions the line for high school, college and pro players.

High school and college players who want the pocket to hold its shape for seasons.

The Wilson A2K is a baseball glove built with Double Palm Construction. A thin leather layer sits between the palm shell and the liner. That layer lets the pocket form to the hand and then hold it. Wilson builds the A2K in Japan, where craftsmen shape each glove by hand. Break-in takes work, so it suits players who will earn the fit.

The A1000 softball glove offers a premium blend of performance and durability. Featuring rolled dual welting for exceptional durability and flat finger binding for added comfort and control, these gloves are built to last. The driLex wrist lining provides moisture-wicking technology to keep your hands cool and dry throughout the game. Bold logos add a touch of style. Crafted from full-grain leather and made in the Wilson Pro Stock Factory, the A1000 is a top choice for softball players seeking a reliable and high-performance glove.

The A1000 is a great choice for players looking for a durable, comfortable, and high-performing glove. The dual welting makes it extra strong and the flat finger binding offers a better grip. If taken care of, this glove will last you a long time. I really like the drawstring closure which lets you adjust the fit to your liking. If you're serious about softball and want a glove that can handle anything, the A1000 is a great option.

Perfect glove for:
Players roughly ten to fourteen who want pro pattern shapes in a softer, smaller glove.

The Wilson A1000 is a full grain leather baseball glove built in Wilson's A2000 factory. The same craftsmen who build A2000 gloves cut and shape these. Patterns copy A2K and A2000 models to identical specifications. The leather is softer, so the glove feels game-ready sooner. Wilson lists the line for players roughly ten to fourteen years old.

Young players around six to ten who need a light glove that closes on smaller hands.

The Wilson A500 is a youth baseball glove built on Wilson's Quick-Fit Wrist. The Quick-Fit Wrist is an elastic strap that hugs a smaller wrist. Top grain leather keeps the glove light so a young player can control it. Wilson lists it for players around age six and up. Sizes run from 10.5 to 12.5 inches across infield and outfield patterns.

Wilson Staff is a baseball glove series from Japan built with Pro Stock Select leather. That is the triple-sorted hide grade Wilson also uses for its A2K gloves. Gap welting folds palm leather between the index and middle fingers. That fold stabilizes the pocket so the glove holds its shape. It suits players who want a Japanese pattern rather than a standard American one.

Youth players aged 8-12 who want a well-built, game-ready glove that fits their hand properly right out of the box.

The Wilson A900 is built around Pedroia Fit technology — shorter finger stalls and a narrower wrist opening — designed specifically for youth players aged 8-12 with smaller hands. Soft full-grain leather, rolled dual welting for structural support, and minimal break-in time make it one of the most game-ready youth options available.
