ECD Lacrosse Weapon X

Durability
Stringability
Flexibility
Perfect head for:
Players seeking a shortened throat for more leverage and control and a rounded scoop to make groundballs a breeze.

The ECD Weapon X faceoff head, designed with Greg "Beast" Gurenlian, aims to revolutionize the faceoff game. It features a proprietary FlexForm material for strength and flexibility, strategically placed flex points for enhanced responsiveness, and a short throat for improved leverage and control. With various iterations like the Weapon X Pro and custom options, it remains a leading choice in the faceoff world.

The Weapon X was made to compete with the Nike CEO line and is popular amongst faceoff guys throughout college. The idea is that it will flex the same every single time. So, it won't flex a little bit lower; it won't flex a little bit higher. It will flex in the same spot, holding the same shape with its warp resistance technology. The throat of the head was made to be as pinched as possible without becoming illegal, so right around that 3” requirement.

Perfect head for:
Defensive players looking to carry the ball who seek a head with a tighter face shape for added control.

The scoop is optimized for ground ball pickups, facilitating easier possession and transitions upfield.

Building off of the first Havok, this head is for the playmaking LSM and defensemen. Maverik made two changes with this head, the first being a tighter face for more ball control for defensive players who like to carry the ball. The second change is increased stiffness to the head to avoid warping when throwing a variety of checks.

Known for its ultra-stiff construction, it features a 6-strut Xrail design, durable materials, a wide face shape, and a high pocket design. This is my favorite defensive head by far. It has a wider face than the first generation to make knocking passes down and transition that much easier. The head is incredibly stiff and holds its shape a lot longer and better than other defensive heads. I used this head through all 5 years of college, and the 2.0 is on both sticks I use right now for my men’s league. It's really durable, and you can throw up a lot of hard checks. It will for sure cause some pain when you use it.

Flexibility
Perfect head for:
Attackmen and offensive players who need quick hands, accurate shots, and exceptional ball control.

The StringKing Mark 2A Lacrosse Head is a meticulously engineered weapon for offensive players seeking ultimate control and lightning-fast execution. Its selling points include a super-light design, a narrow face shape, and a mid-low pocket. This combination grants attackers the confidence to weave through defenders, unleash laser-focused shots, and dominate the scoring game.

This is StringKing’s lightest head yet, making it a good choice for the quick and slick attackmen or the elite offensive player looking for the best control and feel. The pinched face shape and lower profile pocket provide a secure and controlled feel when cradling the ball, especially for one-handed cradling. Because it’s so lightweight, it’s also super easy to handle and maneruver on the field. Love it.

Perfect head for:
Players who prioritize offensive skills and want a head that can help them maximize their scoring potential.

The STX Hyper Power Lacrosse Head is designed for elite shooters, featuring innovative Power Ramp technology that promotes a steeper angle for increased shot speed and consistency. Made with EnduraForm™ for enhanced durability and Innerlock™ guides for easy stringing, it focuses on delivering maximum power and accuracy for offensive players, marking a shift from STX's traditional well-rounded heads.

The Hyper Power is designed to bring the game of an elite shooter to the next level. It is incredibly accurate and has a new structure that provides a natural whip to the head, unlike many other heads. The bottom of the head rises to the top at a different angle than other heads, which keeps the ball in your pocket longer and takes away the variables of stringing materials. This head is used by players like Marcus Holman and Will Manny. Holman used this head to win the 2021 PLL Accuracy Contest in both 2021 and 2022 All-Star Games.
