Maverik's Tactik 2.0 Lacrosse Head is ideal for offensive midfielders. Its redesigned scoop with "Ground Control" technology enhances groundball pickup, making it a versatile tool for transitions and dominant play.
Key features include:
• | Control Core technology provides ball control when possessing, feeding, and shooting. |
• | Scoop and throat are designed to decrease weight while increasing stiffness and control. |
• | 20 stringing holes. |

The Tactik prioritizes power and hold, boasting a deep pocket and a wide face shape ideal for powerful shots, tight dodges, and maintaining possession in the attacking zone. The StringKing Mark 2A offers a similar approach, featuring a deep pocket and stiff construction designed explicitly for lefty players seeking maximum power and hold for offensive dominance. However, the Warrior Burn XP-O takes a slightly different route with a shallower pocket and a more balanced design. While still packing enough power for offensive plays, the Burn XP-O's flexibility allows for better feel and finesse in tight offensive situations and passing plays.

This head has versatile pocket placement options. It feels lighter when throwing and shooting than it did when I strung it. |
Elite attack/midfield head. |
Great head for middies. I’m able to control ground balls and deliver pinpoint feeds. |
👎 Cons |

The Tactik 2.0 felt a little boxy and stiff compared to other heads I've used. |
Watch out for pinching. (They fixed this with the Tactik 3.0.) Makes it less ideal for defensemen and LSMs. |
Some minor cracking on the sidewalls after extended use. |
After buying a Maverik Tactik 2.0 for my son's middie stick, I bought another one to upgrade my coaching stick. It's easy to string and adjust. It's also light and strong. Both heads have even held up in the bitter Northern New York cold! I can't recommend the Tactik 2.0 enough.
