ECD Lacrosse Mirage 2.0 Lacrosse Head

The ECD Mirage 2.0 is a standout head that reinforces ECD's reputation for shooter-friendly gear. With its stiff construction, tight face shape, and deep offset, it’s designed for offensive players who need precision. This model honors the original Mirage while incorporating modern upgrades.

Perfect head for:
Shooters who seek an aggressive offset, tight face shape, stiff construction, and perfect scoop.

Key features include:

The stiff construction and tight face shape channel energy into potent shots.
Enhanced material delivers increased durability & consistency in hotter temperatures.
Redesigned scoop offers effortless ground balls.
Aggressive offset offers more power and accuracy when passing and shooting.

Top Competitors

The Mirage 2.0 boasts a mid-pocket depth and a balanced face shape, making it adept at both powerful shots and controlled passing. Its overall design excels at scooping ground balls and facilitating quick transitions. The Warrior Evo 5 prioritizes a balance of power and hold with a slightly stiffer pocket and pinched face shape, ideal for strong offensive plays and maintaining possession in attacking zones. The Maverik Tactik 2.0 leans towards a deeper pocket and a wider face, similar to the Evo 5, but with a focus on even greater power and hold for offensive dominance.

Progression of the ECD Lacrosse Mirage 2.0

The ECD Mirage 2.0 lacrosse head series features two models: the Mirage and the Mirage 2.0. Here's a breakdown of their progression:

Original Mirage
  • Versatile for various offensive styles.
  • Pinched face shape for ball control.
  • Mid pocket depth.
  • Standard stringing setup.
Mirage 2.0
  • Built for offensive players seeking power and control.
  • Tighter face shape for enhanced control and pocket hold.
  • Updated scoop design.
  • Increased stiffness.
👍 Pros
Incredible accuracy and whip.
Extremely durable -- soaks checks without breaking. Huge improvement on the OG Mirage.
Super accurate, improved scoop, and a real stringer's head. (Like everything ECD makes.)
👎 Cons
Not ideal for players who prefer a more flexible head out of the box.
Know it's *billed* as more durable than the 1.0, but mine broke after a month.
Nitpicking here, because it's a great head, but prefer a more traditional offset.
The Mirage 2.0 is built for the elite offensive shooter. With an aggressive offset and a tighter face shape, this head provides power and accuracy to shooting and passing and control for dodgers. This head is made to be stiffer to withstand hotter temperatures so it doesn’t warp, and it has a redesigned scoop that makes ground balls super easy.
