* It does feel a bit stiffer in the top section...definitely stiffer than the 900
* Compared to other competitor heads, the Stallion 1K offers fewer sidewall stringing holes.
* I understand this is a high-end midfield head, but it’s a bit pricey compared to what else is out there.

The Stallion 1K is the top midfielder head for sure. It's based on the original Stallion design that pro player Kyle Harrison used and designed for that two-way midfielder. The 1K has an improved stiffness, shape retention, and an updated scoop. PLL rookie, Nick Nakeie Montgomery, who ranked 28th in Duke history in career points, also uses this head. I like this head because it can be used both on the offensive side of midfield and the defensive side. It weighs in at about 4.7 oz, making it lighter than the current ECD DNA 2.0, StringKing Mark 2V, and Mark 2T.

It is incredibly accurate and has a new structure that provides a natural whip to the head, unlike many other heads. The bottom of the head rises to the top at a different angle than other heads, which keeps the ball in your pocket longer and takes away the variables of stringing materials. This head is used by players like Marcus Holman and Will Manny. Holman used this head to win the 2021 PLL Accuracy Contest in both 2021 and 2022 All-Star Games.

* This stood up to wicked abuse. Matched with HERO mesh, this setup was very reliable, with repeatable results every day. By far my go-to head for any situation.
