Seller description

BOASTING A NEW SHAFT CONSTRUCTION WITH ALUPLI COMPOSITE, A BLEND OF ALUMINUM AND CARBON FIBER LAYERS, THE CCM JETSPEED FT8 PRO PUSHES DURABILITY LEVELS EVEN FURTHER THAN BEFORE, WHILE STILL MANAGING TO REDUCE ITS WEIGHT. THE JETSPEED FT8 PRO BRINGS A COMPLETELY RE-ENGINEERED BLADE THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WITH THE SAME SCIENCE BEHIND CCM'S STICK SHAFT FLEX PROFILES. THIS ALLOWS THE ABILITY TO MODIFY THE STIFFNESS OF THE BLADE IN SPECIFIC SECTIONS. THE FEATURED SOFT-STIFF EVO BLADE HAS A SOFT HEEL FOR ENHANCED STICKHANDLING AND PASSING WHICH EVOLVES INTO A STIFFER TOE FOR ELITE SHOOTING PERFORMANCE. THE STICK ALSO FEATURES A CUTTING-EDGE CARBON WEAVE UPGRADE WITH SIGMA ST2x, UNVEILING A SLEEK, MODERN BLADE DESIGN WHILE ENSURING UNPARALLELED CONSISTENCY IN CONSTRUCTION. THE JETSPEED FT8 PRO IS SIMPLY CCM'S BEST, MOST INNOVATIVE JETSPEED STICK TO DATE.

Perfect stick for:

Two-way forwards who shoot both from range and in tight, and want one stick for both.

The CCM JetSpeed FT8 Pro is a composite stick with a hybrid kick point. It handles quick releases and heavy drives from the point. Thin aluminum layers sit between carbon fiber in the shaft for impact resistance. The R-geometry shaft has rounded corners and concave sidewalls. The EVO blade pairs a soft heel with a stiff toe. It weighs 375 grams and comes with +1/4 blade pattern options.

Hockey Stick Thoughts and Review

It is my first time ever using a CCM stick. I have and still do prefer the Sherwood code stick, as I feel like the stick is more solid and helps me get a stronger release as a heavy guy. The grip itself is less narrow than other CCM sticks which is what kept me away from them my whole life.

Great for quick release and 1 timers

I’ve always loved the Jetspeeds because of how fast the puck fires off the stick. The Ft8 pro is a great all around stick for forwards and defenseman. They do have a tendency to break like every other stick on the market

Jack of all trades stick.

I’m partial to the jetspeed line as it’s what I’ve used for the last 6-8 years. The hybrid kick point makes it optimized for every kind of shot. The ft8 pro, like its predecessors, does everything well. It has the shot loading and power creation of a mid-kick, and the quick release of a low-kick stick. Combine that with elite feel and you get a perfect all-around stick.

This stick is extremely durable and has lasted me since March and has the same performance now as it did when I first got it. It’s July now. I ended up buying a bunch more for when my season starts since I love the stick so much. It’s very reliable and consistent when it comes to stick handling, shooting, and durable. I can’t think of any flaws on the ft8 pro. There’s also lots of color options to choose from what you prefer!

Great Stick!

Nice midpoint flex. Feels snappy for all types of shots and reliable accuracy. A bit more stiff feeling than the CCM Trigger that has the low kick point. Overall great Stick.
