Bauer Twitch Hockey Stick

The Bauer Twitch is a low-kick stick that loads energy closer to your bottom hand for quicker recoil and more explosive shots. The shaft combines TeXtreme Carbon Fiber and Boron reinforcement—the same ultra-light, high-strength material first seen in the AG5NT—to deliver durability and responsiveness without added weight. It's a true one-piece construction that ensures seamless energy transfer from handle to blade, while the stiff blade core maximizes shot pop and puck feel. Weighing just 345 grams, the Bauer Twitch offers a blend of speed, power, and precision.

FAQs: Bauer Twitch Hockey Stick

Q: Is the Bauer Twitch a good stick for league play?
A: Yes—the Twitch has a quick release, light feel, and solid balance for rec and competitive play. Performance depends on your chosen flex, curve, and cut length.

Q: What kick point does the Bauer Twitch use?
A: Twitch sticks have a low‑to‑mid kick tuned for a fast release. If the listing doesn’t specify, double-check with the seller for the shaft label or spec sheet.

Q: What flex options are available for the Bauer Twitch?
A: Common senior flexes range around 75–95, with intermediate and junior options below that. Cutting the stick increases effective flex ~3–5 points per inch, so plan cut length before choosing.

Q: Which Bauer Twitch curve should I choose?
A: Pick based on shot style. P28 (toe) = quickest release/toe drags; P92 (mid‑deep) = versatile snapshots/passing; P88 (mid, straighter toe) = accuracy and stickhandling. Compare curves to what you already use.

Q: How much does the Bauer Twitch weigh?
A: Weight varies by length and model year. This year's Senior Twitch weighs 345g.

Q: Is the Bauer Twitch durable, or does it break easily?
A: Composite sticks are typically very durable. Longevity depends on flex choice, cut length, usage (slapshots/faceoffs), and ice vs. outdoor play.

Q: Is the Bauer Twitch available in Senior, Intermediate, and Junior?
A: Yes—availability varies by inventory and season. Shop by size: Senior, Intermediate, Junior. For used sticks, confirm uncut length and any previous cuts.

Q: Is the Bauer Twitch better than Vapor, Nexus, or Supreme?
A: It depends on your release and feel preferences. The Bauer Vapor FlylLight is typically low‑kick/quick release, the Bauer Supreme is more power‑loaded, and the Bauer Nexus Tracer is mid‑kick/balanced.

Q: Do I need to break in a Bauer Twitch?
A: No break‑in is required—composite sticks are game‑ready out of the box. Expect a brief adjustment as you dial in the flex and curve. If you change flex/curve from your previous stick, give it a few sessions.

Q: What should I check when buying a used Bauer Twitch?
A: Verify hand (L/R), flex, curve, lie, finish, and cut length. Inspect the shaft for cracks/soft spots and the blade for heel/toe separation. Review our buyer protection policy.

Used checklist:

  • Specs match order (flex/curve/lie/hand)
  • Shaft: no cracks or “spongy” feel
  • Blade: no separation/delamination
  • Length: measure butt‑end to heel
