THIS ACTUAL BAT WAS USED IN THE 2019 12U CAL RIPKEN World Series! Bat has a lot of pop for a USA certified bat.The CF Zen is DeMarini's lightest swinging, most balanced composite bat. This is exemplified by a two-piece construction and the huge Paraflex barrel, allowing there to be a 22% increase in strength from all previous 100% composite bats. From the end cap all the way to the handle, precise weight distribution allows the players to have complete control at the plate. Was used for one season. Has normal scratches and minor nicks but no rattle and absolutely lots of pop. Broken in perfectly for your young hitter!

But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
