Very lightweight

Love this bat which allows for greater swing speed as its drop weight is better than most others. Bat does require a breakin period of around 200 swings with increasing force. Lots of reviews with negative feedback on quality for this bat but I doub't they properly broke in the bat before use.

Easton Speed Comp

Easton Speed Comp is a great bat for the price. It has a similar barrel to more expensive bats. Our 11u little leaguer used this bat through the season into all stars with many kids asking to use it.

Bought the 27" (-13) for my 7-year-old who was struggling to get around on pitches. This thing is feather light and he's making contact so much more consistently now. Only thing I'd say is size up if your kid is on the stronger side...the light swing weight is perfect for beginners and younger players, but a more advanced hitter might want something with a little more feel behind it. For where my son is at though, it's perfect.
