USSSA-certified DeMarini CF Zen composite 28/18 -- great bat, but it has a small **CRACK** (see pics). This bat still hits the ball a mile: Even with a crack, it hits further than our USSSA aluminum bat. If you want to play around with a CF Zen but don't want to shell out $300+ take a look. The bat is otherwise clean (see pics) and in great shape. Our kids were raised to take very good care of their equipment, so it was always in a bat bag or the sports closet.

The CF Zen has been discontinued. The early models from 2017 - 2021 were called CF Zens. After that, DeMarini changed the name to CF. The first models of the CF Zen were very high-performance. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
