The DeMarini Zen USSSA is an exceptional bat, and this 32-inch, 27-ounce (-5) model is a fantastic option for a young player making the transition from a drop 8 (-8) to a drop 5 (-5). We only had this bat for a couple of weeks before, unfortunately, it developed a light crack. However, we have continued using it in the cages, and this bat has absolutely not lost any pop whatsoever. It still absolutely rakes and provides the same great feedback and performance it did before the crack. And check out that awesome pink Lizard Skins grip—it looks fantastic on this bat!
