The 2017 DeMarini CF Zen Composite bat is a USSSA certified model featuring a -8 drop weight balance and a 32" length with a 2 5/8" barrel. Its composite construction is designed to provide a balanced swing weight and a responsive feel with reduced vibration, improving comfort on contact. This bat is suited for the Kid Pitch age group (9-13 years), optimizing performance for developing players transitioning from coach-pitch to more competitive levels. The -8 drop keeps the overall weight manageable, allowing for quicker bat speed without sacrificing control. This used bat maintains the characteristics that make the CF Zen a solid option for youth players seeking a lightweight, durable bat compliant with USSSA standards.

Perfect bat for:

Hitters hunting a used two-piece composite with a fast swing and a known hot barrel.

The DeMarini CF Zen is a discontinued two-piece composite bat with a fast, balanced swing. DeMarini used the CF Zen name from 2017 to 2021, then shortened it to CF. A Paraflex Plus composite barrel gives a large, responsive sweet spot. A 3-Fusion connection cuts vibration and sends energy back to the barrel. Early CF Zens hit hot but cracked, so DeMarini stiffened later ones.
