This excellent condition perfectly broken in Rawlings Renegade 11.5" first base mitt is designed specifically for right-handed throwers working the first base position. Rawlings uses a mix of steer-hide leather in this model, which helps the glove break in softer over time while maintaining shape and durability—important for reliable catches on plays at first. The 11.5" size provides a good balance of reach and control for youth players, especially those in the kid-pitch age group (9 to 13 years old). This mitt suits young first basemen who need a glove big enough to handle throws from infielders but still manageable enough to develop quick transfers and clean catches. The glove’s build and size support solid fundamentals, making it a practical choice for competitive youth players progressing through this stage. The glove is used but ready for regular play.

Perfect glove for:

Rec league first basemen and catchers who want a mitt that plays from day one.

The Rawlings Renegade is a recreational baseball mitt line with a Sure Catch heel. The heel is built to help the mitt fold closed around the ball. Rawlings' current baseball Renegade models are first base and catcher's mitts. Older Renegade fielder's gloves paired a leather palm with a Pro Mesh back. It suits rec league players and youth fielders more than school ball.
