This Rawlings Pro Preferred infield glove is a used 11.75" infield glove. As a used glove, there is some minor surface cracking in high-wear areas. However, these spots have been meticulously cleaned and treated with Ballplayers Balm products to smooth out the texture and prevent further spread. This glove features a very nicely formed, deep pocket. Unlike a stiff new glove, the leather here has been shaped through play to naturally funnel the ball into the sweet spot. The pocket is "set"—it won’t fight you when closing. New laces from Flatbill Sports provide a striking contrast against the leather, giving it a great pop of color. The fresh laces have further restored the glove's structural integrity, tightening up the fingers and the web to ensure the glove doesn't feel "floppy" despite its broken-in status. This is a great option for a higher end youth tournament player or even a high school/college athlete.
