The STX Stallion 1K is a top choice for midfielders. Building on the original design by NCAA champion Kyle Harrison, it features durable EnduraForm material and the Speed Scoop for easy ground ball pickups. A deeper legal offset enhances ball feel and retention.
I like the face shape of the 1K. It's wide enough to allow me to catch the ball easier but still tight enough for me to have plenty of control. I also really enjoy the speed scoop. The only negative thing I can think about for this head is the lack of sidewall holes. Aside from that, I love the head.

This head is used by my 12-year-old son. It holds the ball extremely well, allowing him to change hands effortlessly. The shape of the head makes for easy stringing. Aesthetically, it is a nice-looking stick.

The STX Hyper Power Lacrosse Head is designed for elite shooters, featuring innovative Power Ramp technology that promotes a steeper angle for increased shot speed and consistency. Made with EnduraForm™ for enhanced durability and Innerlock™ guides for easy stringing, it focuses on delivering maximum power and accuracy for offensive players, marking a shift from STX's traditional well-rounded heads.
The Hyper Power is designed to bring the game of an elite shooter to the next level. It is incredibly accurate and has a new structure that provides a natural whip to the head, unlike many other heads. The bottom of the head rises to the top at a different angle than other heads, which keeps the ball in your pocket longer and takes away the variables of stringing materials. This head is used by players like Marcus Holman and Will Manny. Holman used this head to win the 2021 PLL Accuracy Contest in both 2021 and 2022 All-Star Games.

The STX Stallion Lacrosse Head, launched in 2005 by NCAA champion Kyle Harrison, has a history of midfield excellence. Evolving through models like the 700, 900, and 1K, it caters to various playing styles. Key features include the durable EnduraForm material, strategically placed holes, and a pocket design focused on control.
The Stallion is great. We have a couple of family members who play different positions. With this head, we have strung it for attack and, more recently, restrung it for a D-Mid. Both positions have different pocket needs, and it was easy to adapt the sidewall stringing for both of what they were looking for.

The head has an abundance of sidewall holes to help goalies customize their pockets perfectly to give the head the passing accuracy of a normal offensive head.
I learned how to string lacrosse heads using this head. The Ecplise 2 is one of the most flexible heads on the market, offering stiffness when you save a shot. The head has never broken or warped on me and has brought me to the college level. The head is also beautiful; it's very comfortable and fits in the hand well, as does any shaft you put on. This head has never failed me since I started playing goalie.
