The head also has a streamlined scoop to create a wide channel that helps goalies make accurate, consistent clears and cradle with control. The Eclipse is universally legal, and is also the first goalie head to feature open sidewall technology. This allows the head to be which overall wider and longer, which in turn helps increase the overall size of the stopping area for goalies.
