The Bauer Proto2 55 Flex hockey stick is designed for intermediate-level players looking for a balance of control and power. Its 54" length offers solid reach and maneuverability on the ice, while the 55 flex rating provides a moderate shaft stiffness, allowing for quicker release and versatile shooting. The P28 blade pattern supports precise puck handling and reliable wrist shots. This stick is left-handed and has not been cut, maintaining the original length for consistent performance. It’s a retail model suitable for regular play. The stick is used but remains suited for players developing their skills and looking for reliable equipment without moving into pro-grade stiffness or length. Ideal for intermediate players who need a stick that supports skill growth in both shooting accuracy and puck control.

Perfect stick for:

Shooters who prefer a square shaft in the hands and want mid-kick power without extra weight.

The Bauer Proto2 is a mid-kick composite stick with a square shaft profile. The corners are rounded, so the shaft sits square without sharp edges. A mid kick point loads through the middle of the shaft. It weighs 345 grams in a senior stick. Boron fiber, a stiff aerospace material, appears on 40 flex and above.
