The Vizion features a supercharged mid kick point, with a stiff middle and a softer upper and lower portion for easier loading and an explosive release. It has a regular top handle, which is a change from the original Vizion stick. The ALUPLI material used in the shaft is a hybrid metal–carbon construction made from thin aluminum plies combined with carbon layers. I’ve been skating with the CCM Vizion for a while now, and it’s hands down one of the snappiest sticks I’ve ever used. The ultra-low kickpoint allows wrist and snap shots to fly off the blade with almost no effort, making them perfect for quick plays in the slot. It feels light and balanced in my hands. I’ve noticed my release is faster and my hands feel quicker compared to my old sticks, though if I’m winding up for a big slapshot, it doesn’t pack quite the same punch as a mid-kick.
