The E3 comes in at 450g, which is 15g lighter than the previous model, the Nexus N37. Bauer was able to accomplish the reduced weight by using 60% more carbon fiber in the blade and UD Carbon Fiber throughout the shaft. UD Carbon Fiber is a weave that will give the stick more strength and a better balance point. Passed down from the top-of-the-line Sync stick is the ER Spine technology. This is a revolutionary 5-sided shape that creates a spine along the back of the shaft to remove excess carbon fiber layers in the key loading zone. This makes it easier to load energy into the stick creating a faster, more controlled release in all situations.
