Bauer enhances the mid-kick point of the E4 with some high-end technologies. One of the top features is the weight of the stick. The E4 is the lightest stick on the market for this price point, coming in at 425g. Bauer was able to accomplish the reduced weight by using carbon fiber throughout the stick. In the shaft Bauer uses UD Carbon Fiber, which is a carbon weave that will make this stick lightweight without sacrificing durability. Also contributing to the reduced weight of the stick is the Carbon Fiber and Dual Cell technology found in the blade. This is a mix of two different foams: a softer foam on the bottom and a lighter foam on the top to enhance overall stick performance.
