Well used set, but still has plenty of life left. No skate cuts. Biggest wear is at the knee block seam on one pad; I stuck ppf film over the knee blocks for better sliding and to help prevent the seam from opening further (see photo). Additional wear at the usual spots - top corners of pads from overlap, the boot of the leg channel from skates, etc. Gloves are well broken in, but still working well. Palms are worn, but no holes. Catcher closes like butter.

Just like with the Ultrasonic, how it has an integrated knee block to the core (which looks like a book and is attached to the inside of the pad), they made the same thing for the Hyperlite, but a little bit softer and a little bit more forgiving, this design is known as the Vapor Stabiliflex. The glove and blocker are also incredibly light, well broken in, and durable. Many professional players jumped into the Ultrasonic, but if they felt it was too stiff, they switched to a Hyperlite.
