This bat was super hot out of the wrapper as marketed by Easton with a large sweet spot! And only used for one season. No dents or dings. A little scuffing and a few little paint chips at the end of the barrel. Beautiful design! There is a litte rattle which started towards the last third of last season and never progressed beyond. Still saw lots of pop! Most bat experts agree that the little rattle won't negatively impact the overall performance of the bat, but you should consider before purchasing it anyways to avoid any major disappointment. IMHO: This bat should be a great fit for the rec ball baseball player in the 11-12 year old range who's a contact hitter, but doesn't mash the ball near/over the fence. This bat will help turn those singles into doubles! Your son will have fun using it thanks in large part to the barrel design and soft knob which helps limit bat sting. And assuming the bat is sold to your son with that kind of hitter profile and taking care of the bat (no pitching machine use, not slamming it on the ground, not using it in 50 degree or colder temps) it should get him a full season without more signficant wear and tear. Get some new grip tape to personalize it to your son's style! I probably wouldn't consider buying this bat for the younger travel ball player unless it's a second game bat and just for fun. My 14 year old has sized up to a different bat so we no longer need this one. Let's find this bat a new home for the 2025 season!
