This 2024 Easton Hype Fire Composite bat is a 31-inch, USSSA certified baseball bat designed for the Kid Pitch age group (9 to 13 years old). It features a 2 3/4-inch barrel and a -8 drop weight, weighing 23 ounces. I used this bat for just one fall season in 2025 and replaced the grip with a new Lizard Skin before the season started. The composite material still provides plenty of pop and life, making it well-suited for spring training and cage practice. The bat is yellow in color and remains in used condition, reflecting light wear from that single season of play. It’s a reliable option for games and practice sessions without any major damage or issues.
