Basically brand new. Bought it with wrapper still on as it was a warranty replacement bat that had never been hit with. Put brand new lizard skin handle taper on, with brand new lizard skin grip. My son used it for one tournament and thinks he liked a 31” drop 10 better than a 30” drop 8. Bat has huge sweet spot he said, and felt super light for a drop 8. I would say it still needs some breaking in to get to full exit velocity potential…

But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
