2024 Dirty South Swag S8 29/21 USSSA (-8)

Bought at the beginning of the season this year. Used it for the month of March, but it was too light for my son. This bat has juice. He was able to hit further with the S8 than his Cat 9, but he liked the heavier feel of the Cat 9. The S8 is perfect for those who are transitioning from -10 and are looking for a -8 that is light and easy to swing-which is why I got it and for its reputation for power. It whips through the zone and the barrel is easy to control. The sweet spot is rather large and it still delivers good hits on mishits. It weighs in at exactly 21 oz. The bat was well taken care of and only used at temps above 65 degrees. We had plenty of those in March. There are no signs of cracks, dents, spider webbing or any other issue that I am aware of. It’s a strong bat. My son is moving to bbcor so it’s priced to move.
