The Green Zen is the GOAT of all drop 5 USSSA baseball bats. It has a huge sweet spot and a balanced swing weight. This bat is in great shape for a 7 year old bat and shows all the normal signs of wear. It only has one cleat mark. It does not have any cracks, seams or rattles. My son does not want to get rid of it, but he is moving on to a BBCORE.

But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
