Easton Ghost X Evolution 31” (-8) USSSA Baseball Bat -Upgraded Endcap Read description

This 31/23 (-8) Easton Ghost X Evolution is definitely a rare and exceptionally performing USSSA bat. This bat in a drop 8 was incredible when it was released. It garnered great reviews and accolades for performance and feel but soon after fell victim to a poorly designed endcap that almost certainly always failed. That being said this is the hottest drop8 my son ever swung. This Bat is different as the endcap was upgraded to a heavy duty endcap before its first use to remove this bat’s Achilles Heal. The result is an exceptionally high performing bat without the known “weak endcap” issues that this model is known for. The heavy duty endcap is thicker and is much stronger than the original and as such added a little bit of weight to the end of the bat. The bat now weighs 24.5 oz which is inline with actual weights of 31 drop 8 bats but about an ounce more than with the original flimsy stock endcap. This bat is fire and durable! Best of both worlds now. Feel free to ask any questions. The bat is in excellent barely used condition with no structural issues. The grip is original in “like new” condition. Would make a great bat for a player that enjoys feeling a little more barrel in order to whip the bat through the zone. This bat has been used only a handful of times because it was my players, back up bat ( he really loved this model) and is not broken in at all.
