This bat was only carried by Just Bats. It’s 29 inches, Drop 11, 2 5/8 big barrel. There are still some 29/-10s available (selling for $180 plus) but this 29/-11 combination is RARE. There are also some 29/-11 but only with a 2.25 inch barrel. We tried many bat combinations (materials, length, balance, drop, sound/pop). We used Blast Motion to measure bat speed, swing plane, connectedness and Mevo Flightscope to measure exit velo. This bat simply performed the best. It will optimize your kids swing - batting average, exit velo, slugging percentage, etc. My son golfs too-so we were big on all the metrics to optimize both baseball and golf. The combination of 29 inch length, drop 11 oz, composite end cap and aluminum barrel made for: -great balance, easy to barrel it up for consistency (high batting average) -fast bat speed for great exit velo (hard hit balls into the outfield, line drive or fly balls. Lots of doubles/triples. Great against fast pitching) -and the aluminum barrel transferred more energy on slightly off-center hits for hard hit grounders, great durability. Very durable bat. My son cracked other composite bats with repeated bp/tee use. Great pop from composite but horrible durability to get through a long season. The worst is having to find a new bat mid-season. This bat was never used with batting cage dimple balls. Only bp with leather balls in a tunnel and off tee. I saw other kids struggle with different combos -composite -10, -11, -12 bats (big sweet spot but unless you get it just right, no pop; anything mishit was groundout or infield dribbler/pop fly) -10 aluminum 2 5/8 barrel (at 29 inch length, most 9-10 year olds couldn’t get bat speed fast enough to flex bat/get pop, so results in weak infield grounder usually to late side or easy pop fly out) -10 aluminum 2.25 barrel(better bat speed with balanced bat but smaller sweet spot so ground outs/pop fly/strikeouts). There are other aluminum 29/-11 bats that get you some of this bats benefits. But Rawlings got the combo just right with this bat. Lastly the ping sound off this bat is loud. It inspired more confidence in my son- on avg to good hits it just sounds great. Better than the “pvc pipe sound” from composite bats. On flush shots it’s unbelievable. It’s turns heads because they want to see who’s hitting the ball. We liked this bat so much we made my son practice with a 29/-10 Velo (which I’m also selling) to get stronger and use this 29/-11 on game day. It’s definitely has some game and practice use, but it still crushes the ball. Do the research, you’ll see how tremendous this bat is.
