Son used it for travel 1 year, last year. Purchased from Dicks for $249. In great shape and has lots of POP. Some scratches at the end of the barrel, normal wear and tear. Great bat, son loves Marucci products. Had to move up to the drop five. Lots of life left in the bat.

With its one-piece alloy construction and tapered handle with a soft-touch grip, batters gain better control at the plate.

The CAT8 is an older model from 2019 and a good BBCOR and USSSA bat. Very good performing bat with a sound that players love. Lightweight and easy to swing. It's probably one of the best sellers, and since the CAT8 is still available, it's perhaps one of the better bang for the buck. Prices dropped for this older model. So, it is a good match for an entry-level player on a tight budget.
