The barrel looks good with NO structural cracks—just scratches, cleat marks, and normal cosmetic wear you would expect from a bat that has been used for a couple of years. My kid has been gaming this bat up until now, and it has absolutely not lost its pop. This thing still rakes and has plenty of life left in it. Please note: I can hear a very faint rattle inside the bat. It sounds like it could possibly be a small loose piece of glue or something similar inside the barrel, but it has not affected performance whatsoever.
