This is a 2024 Easton Hype Fire Composite baseball bat, USSSA certified with a -8 drop, measuring 29 inches in length and weighing 21 ounces. The barrel diameter is 2 3/4 inches. It was used for one season and still offers excellent pop. The bat has no cracks or structural damage, but there is a very slight rattle—similar to the sound of a grain of sand inside—which is hard to hear but present. Full disclosure provided on this aspect. My son has moved on to a different size, so I’m letting this bat go in hopes that another player can get good use out of it. Overall, it remains a solid option for competitive youth baseball.
