Used Demarini CB5-22 BB/SB USSSA 2 5/8 Bat 32” 27oz Drop 5

This is a used DeMarini CF Zen Composite baseball bat, model CB5-22, measuring 32 inches in length with a 27-ounce weight, and a 2 5/8-inch barrel. It has a drop 5 (-5) rating and is USSSA certified, suitable for the Kid Pitch age group (9 to 13 years old). The bat is white and made from composite material. It was used in only two tournaments, so it shows very minimal wear. The grip is in like-new condition since no pine tar was applied. I’m uncertain if this is a 2011 or 2012 model, but the structured data indicates it is from 2021. The bat did not see much use because I didn’t participate in many drop 5 tournaments. Overall, its in very good condition.

The CF Zen has been discontinued. The early models from 2017 - 2021 were called CF Zens. After that, DeMarini changed the name to CF. The first models of the CF Zen were very high-performance. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
