2022 Easton ADV Hype Composite USSSA Certified Bat (-8) 23 oz 31" (Used)

The Easton ADV Hype is a premium two-piece composite bat. It's known for its Thermo Composite Technology barrel, which delivers a massive sweet spot, light swing weight, and explosive pop right out of the wrapper. I purchased this bat new for my son's travel ball team (USSSA league, -10 drop) at the start of the season. After a full season of heavy use—practices, tournaments, cage work, and games (easily 500+ swings)—here's my honest take. Performance: 5/5 This bat lives up to the "Hype." The ball absolutely jumps off the barrel with serious exit velocity and distance. The large sweet spot made consistent hard contact easy, and the balanced swing helped with bat speed for contact hitters. Mishits still carried well, and there was minimal vibration thanks to the ConneXion Max connector and Power Boost soft knob. It got even hotter as it broke in over the first 100-200 swings. My son saw noticeable improvements in his gap-to-gap power and even cleared the fence a few times—something he struggled with on his previous bat.
