This is the model that Ozzie Smith used during the mid-1980s to dazzle fans with his defensive wizardry. The PRO-12TC pattern is based on the Rawlings TG12, a glove model known as the Trap-EZE which was originally made for Stan Musial in 1959. The trapeze web is unique and the strongest web type, as it is integrated into the overall construction of the glove, as opposed to simply being a separately laced-in piece. The TG12 and later models had a profound influence on pro gloves that persists today.
