SAME DAY SHIPPING! Wilson A2K SuperSkin 1787 Spin Control 11.75" Baseball Glove RHT: WBW1008921175 Smother every rocket blasted your way on the infield with this Wilson A2K infield baseball glove! Glove Benefits The A2K series takes everything that ballplayers love about Wilson baseball gloves and kicks it up an extra notch! The Pro Stock Select leather that is used to build this line has been triple sorted in Wilson's factories. This intensive selection process results in only the top 5% of Wilson-selected hides being used to create these gloves. To assist that incredible leather is the Dual Palm construction which consists of a thin piece of material strategically placed between the palm of the shell and the palm of the inner-hand lining. This small piece does wonders to the glove as it adds to the structure of the shell. As well, it rids A2K gloves of palm wrinkles which have been known to cause baseballs to pop out of the grasp of other gloves. The 1787 pattern is perfect for those players holding down the dirt at shortstop and third base. The glove is 11.75-inches and will give players a quarter-inch of extra length over an 11.5-inch glove. This can be great for shortstops as they are typically asked to cover the most area on the infield (this is as long as the shortstop doesn't think the extra length will throw off their transfers and glove flips). As well, third basemen rarely have to pull off glove flips sometimes asked of middle infielders. Nor do they need to worry about having quite as quick of a transfer time as shortstops or second basemen. Because of that, they can nearly always side with getting a slightly longer 11.75" glove. Don't forget about the SuperSkin material that will lighten up the feel of the glove. Nor should you forget about the Spin Control technology, that will cut down on the spin of the baseball when it enters the glove. This technology will increase friction on baseballs during a catch and thus make them less likely to spin out of your grasp.
