Made entirely with Horween leather including the palm liner. Considered by many baseball glove aficionados to be the best baseball glove leather ever used, even better than Kip. The PRO-12TC pattern is based on the Rawlings TG12, a glove model known as the Trap-EZE which was originally made for Stan Musial in 1959. The trapeze web is unique and the strongest web type, as it is integrated into the overall construction of the glove, as opposed to simply being a separately laced-in piece. The TG12 and later models had a profound influence on pro gloves that persists today. The most famous user of the Rawlings PRO12TC is Ozzie Smith, perhaps the best defensive infield player in baseball history.
