The junior size Franklin 4791L Pro Tanned First Base Glove is designed specifically for left-handed throwers playing first base, featuring a black finish for a traditional look. This model focuses on durability and ease of break-in with pro-tanned leather, which offers a balance of softness and long-lasting wear. Although exact size isn’t specified, it's built with kid pitch players (ages 9-13) in mind, making it suitable for youth players transitioning to more competitive play. The open web design typical of first base gloves helps secure throws and scoop errant grounders effectively. This glove is new and ready for use on the field. Ideal for youth players developing position-specific skills at first base, the glove’s construction supports proper catch mechanics and velocity transfer on throws. Left-hand throwers in the 9-13 age group will benefit most from its tailored fit and durable materials, ensuring it keeps performing well through regular practice and games.
