The Rawlings R9 Catcher's Glove measures 32.5 inches and features premium steer-hide leather designed to break in softer while maintaining its shape over time. This model offers a traditional catcher's mitt design with ample padding and a closed web to secure fast pitches and protect the hand during play. The R9’s durable construction supports consistent performance behind the plate and helps with quick transfers for throwing out base runners. This glove is used but remains functional for regular gameplay. This right-hand throw catcher's mitt is sized for players who require a balance of control and protection in their gear. The 32.5-inch circumference suits catchers seeking reliable pop and durability, making it well-suited for youth through adult players who demand solid leather quality without the premium price point of higher-end models. It fits best players who handle frequent catching duties and want a glove that will shape to their hand with use.

Perfect glove for:

Youth infielders with smaller hands who cannot yet close a full-size adult glove on their own.

The Rawlings R9 is an all-leather baseball glove offered in a ContoUR fit. ContoUR narrows the finger stalls and shrinks the wrist opening. That lets a smaller hand close the glove without fighting it. Other R9 models use a standard or narrow fit instead. Rawlings does most of the break-in at the factory, so it plays early.
