This 1990 Rawlings RBG36JR Cal Ripken Jr model infield baseball glove is a vintage youth model designed for right-hand throwers. It measures 9 inches and features a basket web, making it suitable for young players aged 4 to 8 years in tee ball and coach pitch leagues. The glove has been cleaned, conditioned, and re-laced with premium new leather lacing, restoring its functionality while preserving the original genuine brown leather. Made in the United States, this glove avoids modern flashy colors and synthetic materials, offering a classic, durable design that can last through multiple generations. It’s a straightforward, traditional option for young players starting their baseball experience. The glove is used but ready to be used without further work.

Perfect glove for:

First-time tee-ball players around five to seven years old taking their first turns in the field.

The Rawlings Player Series is a tee-ball glove that arrives fully broken in. A soft, pliable shell closes on the ball with no break-in needed. Rawlings lists it for the youngest players, roughly ages five to seven. Soft felt padding and a soft inner lining keep it gentle on small hands. A basket web helps a beginner trap the ball and hold it.
