Legendary Wilson glove designer Shigeaki Aso turned his full attention on the 2023 A2K lineup, offering updates (e.g., anti ballspin palm technology, superskin on the back) to the classic 1787 style. Every Wilson A2K gets built in the brand’s Japanese factory with Pro Stock Select leather, the top 5% of all hides brought in by the company. Wilson adds double-palm construction, with an extra piece of leather in the palm to help with glove shaping and create a long-lasting pocket. This glove was used for 1 season. It's been mostly broken in, and it will last you a lifetime if you take care of it. While you can use the glove however, you'll see most recommendations are to use the Wilson A2K 1787 at shortstop or third base because of the 11.75 length. It's an amazing glove!
