This is an R2G model which is an softer leather but still a great quality leather. I purchased this glove new with tags but the finger lace was cut, so I had to replace it. I replaced the lace and broke it in the glove. It broke in with 2 in the pinkiy, flared thumb closing on the ring finger. This gives it a good pocket for infielders.
