Louisville Slugger proudly introduces its first internally designed and manufactured composite fastpitch bat. The new Catalyst features multiple layers of aerospace grade graphite and S-glass fibers which are embedded in a specially designed toughened epoxy resin. Each layer is precisely positioned at an angle determined by our exclusive, computer-designed pattern. This results in a bat with the optimum combination of performance and durability. Everything from the bat design to the equipment used to manufacture the bat was developed by the Louisville Slugger Composites R&D Lab.
