This ski has been storage for a few seasons. Bases are in great shape- a few marks but nothing gouging. Edges have tons of life left. Selling to clear space in storage. Rossignol Experience 88 Skis: A great choice for the expert all-mountain skier who mixes it up between hard and soft snow, the Rossignol Experience 88 Skis are a narrower version of the Experience 98 and well suited to those who spend the majority of their time on hard snow. Rossignol’s unique combination of Auto Turn Rocker, with its 70/30 ratio of camber to tip and tail rocker, Extended Sidecut, and Cascade Tip combine to let you rip in any conditions. The harder you push the Experience 88 Skis, the more they deliver. Shape Auto Turn Rocker gives you 70% traditional camber underfoot for power and edgehold with 30% low rocker at tip and tail for easy steering and speed control and versatility in all snow types. Extended Sidecut continues past the unweighted contact point, allowing you to engage more edge as speed and edge angles increase. Construction Wood/Basalt core Sandwich Laminate construction provides ultimate stability, power, and durability. Traditional sidewalls apply direct pressure to the edges for increased precision and edging power. Dimensions 16.4 m @ 178 cm, 135/88/124 (all sizes) Additional Features Cascade Tip staggers lengths of different materials in the tip to lighten swing weight and control tip torsion. Verified Reviewer Highly rated and hyped when it debuted, this ski performs as intended and beyond! It actually does better the harder you push it, and prefers a rider willing to do this, and often. Full of modern ski tech, it is happiest going fast, where it begs you to find its limitations, if any. The Rossi 88 even remains stable at speeds in excess of 60mph! It is capable of powder days, but certainly no replacement for an actual wider powder ski with more float. On piste or off, in bumps or glades, and/or on groomers or crud, this ski is not deterred, a true all-mountain wonder!
