The Nova women's piste skis have a lot of the same tech as the men's version, the main di"erence being a thinner, slightly softer core in the women's model. Rossignol's Adaptive Flex technology is put to good use across the whole Nova range, with the 10 Ti benefiting from a mid stiffness but responsive flex well suited to technical, advanced riders. Nova skis also benefit from trickle-down technology from Rossi's respected race range, with enhanced stability, power and energy when pushing your limits thanks to Line Control Technology. A titanal sheet is sandwiched between two sheets of rubbery visco elastomer, the titanal provides stability and the visco elastomer provides the dampening. This mix of flex, responsiveness and stability makes the Nova 10 Ti a great ski for those who like to fly down the mountain like you've got rocket boots strapped to your skis. The skis are adaptable in both long and short turns, the stiffness and response making short turns feel snappy and energetic and the stability making long turns feel progressive and grippy. Flex grooves cut into the core of the ski towards the edges in the tip and tail help make the Nova 10 Ti more predictable when initiating and releasing the turn. Overall, it feels like Rossignol have done a great job of using just the right amount of tech for great performance for an advanced recreational piste skier. The graphics are also worth mentioning - a glamorous metallic copper which we loved.
