The 2026 Armada Tantrum 84 (sold as a complete package with Armada L6 GW Bindings) is a value-packed, all-mountain freestyle ski engineered specifically for junior skiers and groms. Transitioning from basic kids' gear, the Tantrum 84 provides an entry point into freestyle and all-terrain progression without breaking the bank. Retail prices for the ski and binding system generally range from $239.95 to $399.95, with active promotional discounts saving buyers up to 47%. Key Specifications • Waist Width: 84 mm • Profile: All-Mountain Rocker (Rocker / Camber / Rocker) • Shape: Full Twin Tip (Symmetrical/Freestyle profile) • Target User: Youth / Kids (Beginner to Intermediate-Advanced) • Available Lengths: Typically offered between 133 cm and 157 cm • Included Binding: Armada L6 GripWalk (GW) junior system bindings Core Technologies & Performance Profile • Molded Hybrid Core: Instead of a heavy, overly rigid adult core, the Tantrum uses a molded composite blend designed to give lighter-weight youth skiers an ideal, forgiving flex. This prevents leg fatigue while offering plenty of energy when popping off side-hits or park jumps. • All-Terrain Workhorse: With an 84mm platform underfoot, this ski serves as a true daily driver for younger shredders. It is narrow enough to easily initiate quick, agile carving turns on hardpack groomers, yet wide enough to hold its own in moguls, park rails, or chopped-up afternoon slush. • Durable Cap Construction: Built to withstand the inevitable abuse that kids dish out, the cap-style topsheet resists chipping when skis bang together in the lift line or slam down on terrain park features.
