D30 is a patented, lightweight material with a unique molecular structure allowing it to remain soft and flexible in it's natural state. Upon impact, however, the molecules in D30 lock together to absorb and disperse impact energy, before returning to its soft, natural state. The Surefit AiR liner is adjustable (pump included) and provides a more dynamic fit by placing the technology in the rear of the helmet. This allows it to form better to the contours of your head. The adjustable EVA jaw pad incorporates TPU cushioning for impact absorption. The jaw pad is offered in multiple sizes for a customizable fit. A powerful combination of patented Dual Compression TPU Cushioning and patented D30 technology means you get the advanced technology of TPU in the front and crown - and the protection of D30 in the sides and back - all in the same helmet. The comfort liner features increased surface coverage and additional comfort foam placed inside the liner. This improves durability and provides a more comfortable feel. Schutt's patented TPU Cushioning System is designed for better impact absorption by targeting the technology in key areas in the helmet. The system is attached mechanically, which holds the TPU in place for added security.
