Stick Length 66"

WHY I’M SELLING IT: I bought a handful of these sticks around the summer of 2022 to stock up before my season in juniors. I ended up breaking all of them and then I switched my specs, so there was this last one remaining which I used as a backup that I never actually got around to using it. It sat in my vehicle or basement the whole time, so this puppy never actually made it to the locker room or ice sadly. ADJUSTMENTS I MADE/CONDITION: The only thing I did to the stick was I taped the handle at the top, and I cut the stick down no more than an inch or two to fit my height (5’10) to where the stick ends at the top of my lip on skates. The stick was originally 64” from the top of the handle to the heel, but now it sits more at around 61”. The cut shouldn’t affect the flex too heavily, but chances are it is more like a 90 flex than it is an 85. If the extra height and lower flex is needed, it can always be brought back with an extension. If you would like for the tape to be taken off the handle, I can do that as well (although I think I make pretty good handles). The only cosmetic differences you’ll find is EXTREMELY small scratches on the blade simply from transporting it in my vehicle with other sticks. You have to squint to see them though, so it doesn’t affect the stick whatsoever. SPECS OF THE STICK: The specs on the stick are a PRO Laine curve (PRO29), which is kind of like a wedge-type curve that’s similar to the Ovechkin curve if you’ve ever seen it. It has a 6.5 lie with a squared off toe that’s similar to the P88 curve. The shape of the blade itself is very similar to a P92 apart from the heel which is squared off a lot more. The flex is listed at 85, but after cutting it down slightly, 90 flex is more accurate. The flex-point is a mid-kick as well which is useful for all kinds of shots. The blade finish is a sandpaper texture, which in my experience helps keep the tape on the blade better. The shaft of the stick also has a standard grip finish without any texture, and the stick should weight around 400g or so. It is still in my top 3 most favorite curves I’ve ever used as its so versatile and fun to use, but I’ve since switched to a curve with a little more flair at the toe. MY REASONING FOR THE PRICE: I originally bought the stick for $194.39 USD with the shipping and taxes included. The condition of the stick is brand new considering it hasn’t been used once. The lower price is accounting for the fact that I’ve cut it down a tiny bit, and it’s been sitting in my collection for almost a couple years. I’ve never even taped the blade and all the original stickers and colors are present. You’re saving around $35 or so than you would if you bought a new one. This calculation includes the shipping and tax, as $149 with 8% sales tax is roughly $160. The shipping is free too so you don’t have to worry about the extra $19.99 tacked on as well.
